Unique model.

Premium quality halter, hardwearing and comfortable for your horse, hand-made in the Lorraine region of France. Full grain vegetable-tanned leathers, superior quality brass buckles. Immaculately finished to create a unique product.

Your Ourasi halter is entirely hand-made using saddlery and harness-making expertise; a hallmark of quality and durability.

Traditional saddle stitching, dyed and buffed leather edges, premium quality buckles.

For maximum comfort, the halter is lined in soft leather and padded with 4 mm neoprene foam at the headpiece and noseband.

The headpiece is slightly cut away to fit your horse's anatomy.

The halter is made in such a way that it has no protruding or overly thick parts that could cause discomfort for your equine friend; it also has double buckles.

The throatlasch has clips on both sides. This halter is a superior quality piece of leatherwork, for demanding riders looking for a high-end, durable product.

(Optional symmetrical adjustment). More practical for the rider, it evenly distributes the weight of the halter across the horse's head.

A period of minimum 8 weeks is required from placing the order to dispatching the product.

A word of caution about leather:

Leather is a living material. By definition, it is the skin from an animal (in this case cattle or goats) that has undergone tanning to prevent it from rotting (we use vegetable tanning as this is better for the environment as well as the leather). The animal's skin will present normal marks acquired during its life (spots, scratches, skin folds, etc.).

On the contrary, these marks prove that the leather is full grain, and therefore excellent quality. What's more, leather continues to live and its appearance will gradually change. Leather will take on a patina and its colour will probably change due to weather exposure (sun, rain, etc,), but this serves to make it even more beautiful. Similarly, the buckles will create small marks on the leather, which is perfectly normal.

Caring for your leather: new products are delivered pre-cleaned and oiled. There is no need to apply any products to nourish it, although regular care is essential to keep it looking its best.

Clean the leather after each session with your horse, and moisturise it weekly or monthly depending on how often you use it. See the booklet supplied with the product for more care advice.
