Workshop of the Abat-Carre
The Abat-Carre Workshop, located in Casson, is a place distinguished by its artisanal expertise in leather goods and saddlery. This workshop, led by Céline Prudhomme, a passionate saddle maker registered with the Art Crafts Registry, has successfully combined tradition and modernity in the crafting of its pieces.
Over the years, the workshop has made a name for itself in the world of leather, by combining technical precision with a sense of detail and aesthetics. The pieces created in this workshop are unique creations, made to measure, and tailored to the needs and demands of its clients.
Initially a rider, Céline Prudhomme then underwent rigorous training in a renowned Leather House, and also trained with other artisans before embarking on her own project. She continues to train, innovate, and perfect her skills. She places particular emphasis on the quality of materials, choosing high-quality leathers from the best French or Belgian tanneries and premium buckles. Her work is characterized by great attention to detail, with particular focus on refined finishes and saddle stitches that give each piece a unique character.
