My family have been saddlers and leatherworkers since 1759 (7 generations).

My great-great-grandfather opened the Cuny saddlery on Rue des Bouchers in Strasbourg in 1850.

My great-grandfather took over the saddlery business until 1952. When he died, I trained as a saddler, harness-maker and leatherworker at the Besançon Haras (national stud farm) in 2016, to continue the tradition.
