Having trained as an instrument maker for string quartets, the skills I gained in making saddles and harnesses were largely self-taught as well as via various saddlers.

I have a vocational qualification in saddle and harness making. All items are entirely made in the workshop, from cutting out the leather to applying trims, and all saddle-stitched by hand.

The leathers are mostly vegetable tanned, and come from French tanneries renowned for the quality of their products.
