Customisable KilPenn

Havana or black leather KilPenn with natural French wool or foam filling.

It is easy to attach to all types of snaffle bridle, bridle or halter.

Central strap to adjust the length. Thickness can be adjusted by adding or removing wool.

Its role: To clear the cervical vertebrae (atlas) and poll, distributing pressure across broad, comfortable areas.

• Step 1: enlarge the adjustment on your snaffle bridle by two holes.
• Step 2: on the horse, adjust the length to fit the position of the ears.
• Step 3: attach the KilPenn to your snaffle bridle.
• Step 4: Attach the snaffle bridle to your horse and slide your fingers between the poll and the headpiece: You should be able to fit one or two fingers underneath. If you cannot fit one finger, add wool. If you have a space bigger than two fingers, remove some wool.
• Step 5: If you need to clear the ears further, roll the hook side of the hook-and-loop strip around your headpiece then firmly pull the front section backwards. Repeat with the other side.

Leather: from French-farmed cows, hides tanned in Belgium. Whool: Sheep farmed in France, wool washed and carded in France. Foam: cut to shape in France. Suitable for sizes D pony to horse.

Customisation: Colour of the leather (havana, black, tan or Victoria), hook and loop strips as well as KilPenn embroidery in the colour of your choice.
